Meher, the Great Guide is the Celestial Planes deity of the Dead and the Grave. He also has the names Malar (Elvish) and Malyk (Dwarvish).
Only he and Rayse can manifest themselves in the waters of Death.
Sepulchre
The peaceful and sombre plane of Sepulchre, ruled by the deity Meher, is a reflection of mortal transport hubs and resting places for the dead. Despite its appearance, the souls of the dead do not pass through this plane or come to rest there. Meher, known as “The Great Guide,” leads souls to their afterlife destinations, ensuring their safe passage to their eternal resting places. The plane of Sepulchre is a place of calm reflection and respect for the dead, with no disturbance or chaos. Even though it is not a destination for the souls of the deceased, it is a place where those who remain can pay their respects and honour the memories of those who have passed on. The quiet and serene atmosphere of Sepulchre serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting the cycle of life and death, and the crucial role that Meher plays in guiding souls to their final destinations.
